Haircuts are a part of personal mentoring. People with the full head of hair use to style their hair in different ways to boost up their personality. But what about those men and women who are experiencing hair thinning.

You would want to style or get a haircut which can hide your visible scalp easily and makes the hair look denser than usual.

Haircuts for Men with Thinning Hair:

  1. Buzz Cut
  2. The Caesar Cut
  3. Shaven head

·         Buzz Cut:

The quickest and simplest way to style your hair is to get a buzz cut. Long hair gives an illusion of thinner hair but a shortcut provides an appearance of denser hair. So buzz cut will help you to get a different and gorgeous look than you had before.

·         The Caesar Cut:

The Caesar cut helps to hide the receding hairline, by pulling the short hair forward to give an illusion of a filled hairline. Make this hairstyle by slightly angling the hairline instead of cutting the straight across in a horizontal line. Use a styling cream to keep hair in place throughout the day but try not to use hard gels.

  •          Shaven Head:

If you want to embrace your noticeable scalp then get your head shaved. Most men who aren’t experiencing hair loss prefer shaving their head for a more masculine look.

Any woman with thin and fine hair can relate to the endless frustration of finding a suitable hairstyle. If you are also a victim hair thinning then you are very well aware of that frustration like other victims of hair thinning.

Common hairstyles quickly fall flat and lose their volume thus exposing your hair thinning areas and prominent scalp. Here are some suitable and trendy hairstyles that may help you to hide your hair loss.

Haircuts for Women with Thinning Hair:

  1. Teased Ponytail
  2. Deconstructed Fishtail Braid
  3. Top Pulled Back
  4. Wavy Lob
  5. Deep Side-Part
  6. Uneven Front Bangs
  7. Braided Crown
  8. Angled Bob
  9. Imitation Hair-Wrapped Ponytail
  10. Wispy Front Layers
  • Teased Ponytail:

Creating a voluminous ponytail is an easy hairstyle which also really suits thin hair. But you have to make sure that your hair is dry.

Hold up the top layer of your hair using a fine tooth comb to tease it, it would be better if you give a volumizing effect. Then, in the end, pull your hair back in a high ponytail and tie with an elastic.

  • Deconstructed Fishtail Braid:

Fishtail braids give a completely new look if you have medium or long hair. It’s more suitable if you braid your hair down to your shoulder instead of letting it fall straight down to your back.

Once the fishtail braid is complete, secure it with an elastic and then add volume to it. For this, use your hands, take each section of the braid and then pinch it outward on both sides. This will give an illusion of thick braid.

  • Top Pulled Back:

First, wash your hair and dry it completely. Afterward, take the uppermost layer in the middle of your hair, hold it up and lightly tease it.

Then pull this layer back so that it covers your hair thinning region and also your prominent scalp. In the end, secure it with bobby pins.

  • Wavy Lob:

If you have thin hair then wavy lob can give you two benefits.

  • One benefit of the wavy lob is that it’s a short hairstyle and it never gets weighed down and give tension to your hair.
  • And the other benefit is that the beachy texture provides an appearance of denser hair.

To make a wavy lob, first of all, use a texturizing spray throughout your hair to add long-lasting density, texture, and volume. Then use your hands to create beachy waves. When it’s dry, gently run your fingers to mess up the curls.

  • Deep Side-Part:

This hairstyle will help your fine hair to look thick and it also gives fullness around your face. Part your hair on one side and then use the curling iron or wand for some volume.

  • Uneven Front Bangs:

Having uneven bangs helps to give you the option to part them to one side or in the center.

  • Braided Crown:

If you have thin hair but tired of the ponytail, beachy waves or bun then try braided crown.

To make this, take hair from the area just above your ear to form a braid. Braid it down toward your shoulder then wrap it around the front of your head like a crown.

  • Angled Bob:

It will help to add volume and movement to your lifeless hair.

  • Imitation Hair-Wrapped Ponytail:

Instead of a neat ponytail, a hair wrapped around messy ponytail can cover your thin hair and give it a beautiful look.

The trick is that pull your hair into a ponytail and don’t combine too much so that the crown region becomes flat. Then use an elastic to secure your ponytail. And in the end, wrap some hair around the elastic to cover it.

·         Wispy Front Layers:

Just keep in mind that back of your hair should be cut in a straight line and cut front layers that start from the bottom of your chin and then cascade down.

Get a Hair Specialist Help:

Treatment is not important if you are comfortable with your appearance. You can either use wig or can change your haircut to cover the hair thinning.

But if you want to cure your hair thinning permanently then get a hair specialist help, instead of wasting more time.

Consultation with the Trichologist at the Hair Transplant Centre:

Arrange an appointment with the trichologist at the Hair Transplant Centre. After examining your scalp very carefully, he will evaluate your hair loss treatment options.

If your hair loss/hair thinning will be less according to Norwood scale then the trichologist may recommend you to use certain medications.

But if your hair loss/hair thinning will be at high stage according to Norwood scale then he may prescribe you to consult a hair transplant surgeon.
