How Many Grafts Do I need for a Good looking Hair Transplant?

Hair breakage! We all deal with it at some stage in our lives. Trimming is considered to be the simplest solution for hair breakage, but the last thing a woman coveting long hairs would want to hear is that she should get a trim. Apparently it defeats the purpose of growing hair, but cutting the old, damaged ends pays off in the long run. Still not convinced? We have some other time tested tips as well to stop hair breakage naturally, but believe me regular trims still remain at the top.
Getting regular trims allow you to remove split or dead ends of hair. Many women trying to grow longer hairs believe that cutting the ends of hair can be counterproductive to growing hair, but this is not true. It rather helps in making your hairs look thicker and grow faster. When we say regular trims that doesn’t mean a proper hair cut every month. Get an inch or half an inch ends trimmed every 2 to three months. Average growth rate of hairs is half an inch per month. So if you get even an inch trimmed after 2-3 months, it would not stop the hair growth completely. By removing the dead, split ends you prevent your hair from becoming dry and brittle.
Wet hairs are three times more delicate than dry hairs. So if you want to stop hair breakage deal wet hair with extra care. Avoid rubbing wet hair harshly, as this may also damage them. After you shampoo your hair, pat them dry and let them air dry before you brush them. It is fine to detangle a little wet hair with a wide-toothed comb, but brushing hair while it is soaking wet is strictly prohibited. Ideal time to detangle your hair is when you apply conditioner to them. Use a wide-toothed comb and run it through hair saturated with conditioner. Besides detangling them, it will also allow thorough distribution of conditioner.
Another very good tip to stop hair breakage is to avoid heat of blow dryers and hair straighteners. High heat when applied frequently to the hair causes irreversible damage to the hair strands as well as the hair follicles. Leave the use of blow dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons and hot rollers. Let your hair air dry and if necessary use blow dryer set at lowest heat speed. Even washing hair with hot water makes them dry and brittle.
Harsh chemicals in hair care products do less benefit and more damage to your hair. Cut down use of harsh products and instead go for herbal and organic hair care products and as they are relatively mild and contain less of harmful chemicals. Also choose shampoo and conditioner keeping in mind your hair type – normal, dry or oily.
Avoid excessive washing:
Excessive washing is another common cause of hair breakage. Shampooing your hair daily not only removes the extra oil and dirt from your hair but also deprives them off healthy oils. This ultimately causes your hair to become dry and brittle. And it is obvious that dry and brittle hairs are more prone to breakage and split ends. So if you are a cleanliness freak and wash your head daily, then give your hairs a break. Shampoo your hair twice or at most thrice a week and you will be surprised by the outcome.
