Add two egg yolks into it and beat well using a hand whisk. Apply this mask to damp or dry hair and let sit for half an hour before rinsing and washing your hair with a mild shampoo and normal water.

  1. Yogurt and Honey Mask:

Honey is a natural humectant while yogurt helps your hair restore the lost shine and shape. Take ¼ cup plain yogurt in a clean bowl and add into it one tablespoon of honey and one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. Mix all the ingredients well and apply to moist hair. Gently massage the mask onto your for 3 to 5 minutes and then leave it on for 20 to 25 minutes. Rinse and wash your hair as usual and let them air dry. Avoid using blow dryer as much as possible.

Banana is rich in potassium and various vitamins, which are essential for regulating scalp’s oil production and thus help fight winter dryness. Take two ripe bananas and blend them with one tablespoon each of extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil and raw honey. Apply this mask to your hair, making sure every inch of the hair and scalp is covered with it. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo. Repeat twice a week for shinier and softer hair.

The perfect use of pumpkin leftovers is to use them fight winter hair dryness. Pumpkins are rich in nutrients which are essential for maintaining a healthy hair profile. Cheese grate one medium sized piece of pumpkin to obtain one cup of grated pumpkin. Add two tablespoons of honey into it and mix well. Now apply this mask generously to your scalp and hair. Wrap your hair up in a shower cap and wait for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing and washing your hair like you normally do.

  1. Coconut and Olive Oil Mask:

Take two parts of coconut oil and add one part of extra virgin olive oil into it. Massage this oil mixture into your scalp for 5 to 7 minutes. Wrap your hair in a shower cap and let it sit for as long as you want before washing the oil off with a mild shampoo.
