Are you seeking a natural and economical home remedy to treat hair loss? Stop looking for the complicated recipes that use alien herbs and shrubs, go grab some aloe vera plant and see your hair becoming thick and long.
This miracle plant is most commonly known for health and skincare benefits, but only a few know that it is also a one stop solution almost all hair problems, from dry and frizzy hair to dandruff to hair loss. Regular use of aloe vera gel not only nourishes your hair to make them healthy and strong but also protects them from internal and external damages.
Most of the over the counter hair loss treatment products nowadays have aloe vera as their main ingredient, but they are generally quite expensive and not everybody can afford buying them. The cheaper variants of aloe containing hair products, on the hand, contain harsh chemicals and preservatives and very little or no aloe vera extract, and thus do not improve hair at all.
While using hair care products that contain aloe vera gel is very good for the health of your hair, it is much better to use fresh, natural aloe extract coming directly from the plant. Listed below are some simple recipes for using aloe vera to treat hair loss. Use it as a pre-shampoo treatment, as a shampoo and/or as a conditioner and flaunt long and strong bangs.
Aloe vera as a pre-shampoo treatment:
Applying freshly squeezed aloe gel to your scalp before you shampoo hair will help remove dandruff deposits in the scalp. This juicy plant is rich in enzymes that can effectively help treat dandruff and fungus and destroy dead cells deposits as well. Besides, it also helps maintain the pH level of the scalp, preventing dandruff from coming back.
How to use it?
When using aloe vera as a pre-shampoo treatment, take freshly squeezed aloe extract and massage it into the scalp for a few minutes. Leave it in for 10 to 15 minutes and then shampoo your hair as usual. It will not only help preserve the natural moisture of the scalp and locks but will also destroy the dandruff buildups.
Aloe vera as a shampoo:
The hydrating properties of aloe vera gel make it a very good substitute for shampoo. Simply take some aloe vera extract and gently rub it onto your hair for a couple of minutes, making sure it has reached every strand of your hair and then rinse it off with normal water. Remember most of the shampoos available in the market do more harm to your hair than just removing the excess oil and dirt, if any. However, if you are very fond of your shampoo and can’t digest the idea of skipping shampoo altogether, simply add some aloe gel to your favorite shampoo and then use it.
Aloe vera as a conditioner:
Most of the over the counter conditioners are nothing but a formula containing numerous chemicals, which are not very kind to your hair. So, if you are seeking some all natural conditioner for your thinning hair, aloe vera gel may be the right option. Extract fresh gel from the aloe plant and apply it to the damp hair, starting from the roots to the tips. Then wrap your hair in a warm towel and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and let them air dry.
